With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rafal Filanowski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Konstanty Dlugi struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Stasio Pstrongowski didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Frankenberg. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

In the 63rd minute, Konstanty Dlugi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Stasio Pstrongowski was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Ryszard Oborski hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. When Pawel Cielencki fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. Zelków's Fabian Dlugi got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 96th minute the ball was on its way in behind Frankenberg's goalkeeper Rafal Filanowski, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 97 minutes into the game, Lucjan Gdowik was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Frankenberg's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Zelków the free kick. The supporters of Zelków booed when Frankenberg was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 97 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lucjan Gdowik didn't get a good kick on the ball. Zelków's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
