Thanks to some nice moves Tomasz Skonieczny could shoot a difficult shot in the 16th minute, which Izydor Bochinski however easily saved by the left post. In the 28thth minute of the game Franciszek Mirowski who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Polish Eagles's Zdzislaw Scislowicz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Wladyslaw Lamczyk during the 30th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tomasz Skonieczny made a kick off. 56 minutes into the match, Feliks Ciszewski dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Zdzislaw Scislowicz, 0-1. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mateusz Brzeszczak couldn't finish the play. After having played for 98 minutes, Tomasz Skonieczny managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Polish Eagles's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomasz Skonieczny was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Wierzch supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Wierzch would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
