In the 3rd match minute, Droseheydau SA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wawrzyniec Mruk to maneuver through the defense. When Tomasz Skonieczny came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the Polish Eagles fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomasz Skonieczny couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Edgar Tokarczyk managed to get in a good position for a shot. Droseheydau SA's supporters rose to their feet, but Edgar Tokarczyk was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zdzislaw Scislowicz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Leon Penczkowski's late challenge caught a Polish Eagles's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Leon Penczkowski helped the player get up and apologised. Leon Penczkowski hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. In the 26th minute, Florian Zecman ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Zdzislaw Scislowicz was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Zdzislaw Scislowicz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Florian Zecman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tomasz Skonieczny sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonard Tworek in the 35th minute of play forced Droseheydau SA's goalkeeper Gwidon Puch to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zdzislaw Scislowicz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Florian Zecman in the 37th minute of play. Fabian Rutecki received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Gwidon Puch tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gwidon Puch didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tomasz Skonieczny went, in the 45th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Florian Zecman to strike the kick off in the second half. Gwidon Puch took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabian Rutecki, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zdzislaw Scislowicz was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Kacper Buczko. After a rather tough play, Polish Eagles's Wladyslaw Lamczyk got a free kick in the 76th minute. After having played for 80 minutes, Leonard Tworek managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Polish Eagles's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leonard Tworek was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Polish Eagles's Fabian Rutecki in the 82nd minute got a chance for a shot 82nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Droseheydau SA's goalie prevented a goal. When Fabian Rutecki came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Polish Eagles fans jumped to their feet.
