An unexpectedly hard shot by Iwo Chodzinski in the 21st minute of play forced Grubale SA's goalkeeper Roch Pinczewski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Teofil Turok charged in rather forcefully in the 23rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Teofil Turok the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Iwo Chodzinski blasted a shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Roch Pinczewski having to make a save. But to his dismay, Leszek Gotfryd quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Grubale SA's Bogumil Ruszkowski got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 44th minute, Bogumil Ruszkowski left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Grubale SA fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. After a rather tough play, Ks Poddębowiec's Zdzislaw Smolak got a free kick in the 47th minute. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

A hard shot by Tobiasz Miazga from long distance, 79 minutes into the match, got Milosz Tokarczyk's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Iwo Chodzinski's late challenge caught a Grubale SA's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Iwo Chodzinski helped the player get up and apologised. Iwo Chodzinski hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Grubale SA were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
