The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jerzy Kalemba showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. If Tymoteusz Kordalewski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Targówek 1953 Warszawa's Jerzy Kalemba played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edward Rydzyk in the 20th minute of play. Edmund Wiater stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marcin Gruchacz's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. Edmund Wiater showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcin Gruchacz, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Tymoteusz Kordalewski managed to get in a good position for a shot. Targówek 1953 Warszawa's supporters rose to their feet, but Tymoteusz Kordalewski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edmund Wiater breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tytus Serwach took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 34th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Edmund Wiater. Dobrów SA's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. If Marcin Gruchacz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Edmund Wiater showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 46 minutes into the game, Dobrów SA's Waldemar Moryl nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jerzy Kalemba made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Edward Rydzyk stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st match minute, Targówek 1953 Warszawa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Radowit Bentkowski to maneuver through the defense. In the 64th play minute Marcin Gruchacz came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Edmund Wiater. 1-3. After 68 minutes, Waldemar Moryl mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Dobrów SA and the Targówek 1953 Warszawa players grew even worse after the yellow card. Tymoteusz Kordalewski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edmund Wiater having to interfere. Marcin Gruchaczs short, quick shot in the 71stth minute got Edmund Wiater to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. With his leg Edmund Wiater managed to avoid a goal in the 75thth minute, when Targówek 1953 Warszawa's Marcin Gruchacz fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Miroslaw Kaznocha hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Targówek 1953 Warszawa's Bartlomiej Arnista shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 77th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Edmund Wiater but with some difficulty. In the 82nd minute of the match Kryspin Gmoch shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jerzy Kalemba showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Marcin Gruchacz's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Edmund Wiater firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 85th minute Tymoteusz Kordalewski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edmund Wiater saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 89 minutes, Kajetan Gierasik mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Targówek 1953 Warszawa and the Dobrów SA players grew even worse after the yellow card. Edmund Wiater didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 97th minute, which inside left pole to 2-4. Targówek 1953 Warszawa's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
