When the match had gone on for 23 minutes, Leon Kluczyk put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Pawel Galus. Borys Topolski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Slawomir Mosiniak having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Leon Kluczyk managed to get in a good position for a shot. Göttkendorf's supporters rose to their feet, but Leon Kluczyk was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pawel Galus breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Leon Kluczyk made a kick off. Skrzypne Gdańsk's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
