Spectators: 6674 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1674, VIP seats: 0) Korona Czernina's Damazy Skikiewicz started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Stasio Frankowski took the ball and in the 6 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Maksymilian Pinczewski. Maksymilian Pinczewski dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Zachariasz Kolbert struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Mariusz Golota didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Korona Czernina. Zenon Zaremba's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Mariusz Golota firmly grabbed it by the left post. Zenon Zaremba recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Korona Czernina's Maksymilian Pinczewski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tytus Plech in the 18th minute of play. If Damazy Skikiewicz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Damazy Skikiewicz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 25 played minutes GieKSa 1964 Katowice got a freekick which was hit by Julian Fronczak. In the 26th minute of the match Wlodzimierz Kissel shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mariusz Golota showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 34th minute Stasio Frankowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maksymilian Pinczewski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Korona Czernina's Maksymilian Pinczewski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stasio Frankowski in the 40th minute of play. Julian Fronczak was shown his second yellow card after 44 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The supporters of Korona Czernina booed when GieKSa 1964 Katowice was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Julian Fronczak didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, Korona Czernina's Wlodzimierz Kissel tried to score from far away in the 46th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Stasio Frankowski was the one to do the kick off. GieKSa 1964 Katowice's Mariusz Golota played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Damazy Skikiewicz in the 55th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Stasio Frankowski managed to get in a good position for a shot. GieKSa 1964 Katowice's supporters rose to their feet, but Stasio Frankowski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Maksymilian Pinczewski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Stasio Frankowski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Maksymilian Pinczewski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 92nd match minute, Korona Czernina was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wlodzimierz Kissel to maneuver through the defense. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. GieKSa 1964 Katowice had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
