In the 9th minute, Fabian Malewicki got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Franciszek Chmielecki made a fantastic save in the 10th minute, when Slawomir Weyna sent off a good shot on target. Pawel Beninda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Krzysztof Lipinski in the 30th minute of play forced K.S. Żory's goalkeeper Franciszek Chmielecki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fabian Malewicki fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julian Wysocki having to interfere. If Fabian Malewicki had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Mieszko Skaradoski fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored K.S. Żory's protests and gave Mieszko Skaradoski a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to K.S. Żory getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Mieszko Skaradoski hit a great ball. After having played for 47 minutes, Krzysztof Lipinski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC SBLW's supporters crossed their fingers, but Krzysztof Lipinski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Krzysztof Lipinski made the kick off in the second half. After 53 played minutes K.S. Żory got a freekick which was hit by Zula Rozanski. Wlodzimierz Okraszewski was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 54th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. 57 minutes into the match, K.S. Żory's goal looked a bit too open when Krzysztof Lipinski came free, but Franciszek Chmielecki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fabian Malewicki fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julian Wysocki having to interfere. In the 62nd minute, FC SBLW's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Fabian Malewicki fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. With a little luck, FC SBLW's Julian Wysocki got control of the ball when Pawel Beninda tried to sneak it across the goal line. Fabian Malewicki fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julian Wysocki having to interfere. Żory's Franciszek Chmielecki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Slawomir Weyna in the 76th minute of play. 78 minutes into the match, K.S. Żory's goal looked a bit too open when Slawomir Weyna came free, but Franciszek Chmielecki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pawel Beninda struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Julian Wysocki didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for K.S. Żory. 95 minutes into the game, Slawomir Weyna cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Franciszek Chmielecki was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. FC SBLW's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
