The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 2nd minute of the game. One of Staszówka:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of XYZ:s goal. 7 minutes in the game, Leon Cerocki fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Zachariasz Hetman having to interfere. Waclaw Drzewucki might have been able to make a better finish in the 14th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Zachariasz Hetman. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Waclaw Drzewucki ran back to his position shaking his head. The crowd rose to their feet as Leon Cerocki kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Zachariasz Hetman. That made the score 2-0 in the 14 minute of play. If Wit Rybak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 20th minute, Leon Cerocki hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Wit Rybak recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wit Rybak in the 23rd minute of play forced XYZ's goalkeeper Ryszard Watarz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kacper Wos kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. In the 28th minute of the match Radowit Drapinski sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ryszard Watarz skillfully saved the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Olaf Grucza in the 29th minute of play forced XYZ's goalkeeper Ryszard Watarz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Olaf Grucza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Olaf Balonek took the ball and in the 33 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ryszard Watarz. Ryszard Watarz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Waclaw Drzewucki received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Zachariasz Hetman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Zachariasz Hetman made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Waclaw Drzewucki sent off a good shot on target. In the 47th minute Leon Cerocki shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zachariasz Hetman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Olaf Grucza to strike the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the match, XYZ's goalkeeper Ryszard Watarz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Wit Rybak. Radowit Drapinski charged in rather forcefully in the 57th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Radowit Drapinski the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Sebastian Babicki took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 61st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ryszard Watarz. XYZ's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. XYZ's Leon Cerocki got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Olaf Grucza came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Staszówka fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Olaf Grucza couldn't finish the play. 75 minutes into the game, Staszówka's Wit Rybak nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ryszard Watarz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. Olaf Balonek's late challenge caught a XYZ's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Olaf Balonek helped the player get up and apologised.
