Spectators: 7371 (Terracing: 5529, Seating: 1695, VIP seats: 147) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Roman Ludwa kicked off to start the match. Skiby's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cyryl Cetnar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Roman Ludwa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tomasz Burdzel having to interfere. In the 11th minute the ball was on its way in behind Skiby's goalkeeper Tomasz Burdzel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 12 minutes into the match, Hniówka's Roman Ludwa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tomasz Burdzel narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jaroslaw Liermann made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 16thth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Grzegorz Walentowicz would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. Tomasz Burdzel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roman Ludwa in the 20th minute of play. 1-0 became the score in the 21st minute when Cyryl Cetnar elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Roman Ludwa might have been able to make a better finish in the 29th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tomasz Burdzel. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Roman Ludwa ran back to his position shaking his head. Roman Ludwa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tomasz Burdzel having to make a save. Skiby's Tomasz Burdzel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roman Ludwa in the 37th minute of play. Tomasz Burdzel didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kacper Nieuzyla went, in the 40th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. After a defensive mix-up in Skiby's zone, Kacper Nieuzyla stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tomasz Burdzel came out of the goal and Kacper Nieuzyla tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Hniówka's Roman Ludwa in the 47th minute got a chance for a shot 47th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Skiby's goalie prevented a goal. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Cezary Domamir's late challenge caught a Skiby's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cezary Domamir helped the player get up and apologised. In the 52nd minute, Cezary Domamir hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Skiby's Eugeniusz Chojnacki got a free kick in the 55th minute. If Jaroslaw Liermann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute.
