Spectators: 6676 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1676, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Kazimierz Tarasek started the match with the kick off. In the 10th minute Kazimierz Tarasek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olgierd Gniewek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kazimierz Tarasek received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Olgierd Gniewek tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Janusz Roman got free with Herbert Kocieniewski in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kazimierz Tarasek in the 25th minute of play forced Real Madryt's goalkeeper Olgierd Gniewek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Janusz Roman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Janusz Roman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Herbert Kocieniewski having to interfere. Kazimierz Golob received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Olgierd Gniewek tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kazimierz Tarasek's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Olgierd Gniewek read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 43rd minute of play. Sanok Galaxy's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Stefan Czajka 45 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Stefan Czajka made a kick off. Janusz Roman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Kazimierz Golob came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Sanok Galaxy fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kazimierz Golob couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Stefan Czajka managed to get in a good position for a shot. Real Madryt's supporters rose to their feet, but Stefan Czajka was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Herbert Kocieniewski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stefan Czajka in the 66th minute of play forced Sanok Galaxy's goalkeeper Herbert Kocieniewski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 70th minute, Kazimierz Golob ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Olgierd Gniewek was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. After a defensive mix-up in Real Madryt's zone, Kazimierz Tarasek stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Olgierd Gniewek came out of the goal and Kazimierz Tarasek tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Stefan Czajka had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kazimierz Tarasek recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 89 played minutes Real Madryt got a freekick which was hit by Ryszard Dulka. Kazimierz Golob in the 94thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Olgierd Gniewek, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The Sanok Galaxy players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Real Madryt from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
