After 11 played minutes REAL BYDGOSZCZ got a freekick which was hit by Dariusz Barys. In the 16th match minute, FC Wisła was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Igor Kasperowicz to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Igor Kasperowicz got free with Dimas Benedicto in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The crowd rose to their feet as FC Wisła's Ulryk Pionek slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Dimas Benedicto. That made the score 1-0 after 18 minutes of play. 25 minutes into the game, Bartosz Walkowski was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Wisła's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave REAL BYDGOSZCZ the free kick. After a rather tough play, FC Wisła's Bartosz Walkowski got a free kick in the 25th minute. Dimas Benedicto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Karol Laskowski in the 27th minute of play. 29 minutes into the game, one of REAL BYDGOSZCZ:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 31st minute there was a penalty for FC Wisła. Filip Rasimowicz stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Dimas Benedicto. 2-0. A nice corner shot did that Izydor Rode got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Dimas Benedicto quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Karol Laskowski was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Bernard Jaszcz made a precise shot to the right of Tolek Moczkiewicz. FC Wisła's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Roch Czysta's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tolek Moczkiewicz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 58th minute of play. A collision led to FC Wisła getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Izydor Rode hit a great ball. With 68 minutes on the clock, Jedrzej Kluska commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. 68 minutes into the game, one of REAL BYDGOSZCZ:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The supporters of FC Wisła booed when REAL BYDGOSZCZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roch Czysta didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dariusz Barys kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. In the 86thth minute of the game Karol Laskowski who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but REAL BYDGOSZCZ's Dimas Benedicto was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some careless play in the REAL BYDGOSZCZ defense, Igor Kasperowicz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dimas Benedicto. The REAL BYDGOSZCZ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dimas Benedicto should have stopped the shot. Wojciech Barowicz might have been able to make a better finish in the 98th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tolek Moczkiewicz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Wojciech Barowicz ran back to his position shaking his head. REAL BYDGOSZCZ's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because FC Wisła had won, even though REAL BYDGOSZCZ had held more of the ball.
