Torcida Zaborze's Hieronim Rzeszutek played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabian Zaworski in the 8th minute of play. 17 minutes into the match, Miromir Cupial had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Damian Wlodyga. Młynarz Sosnowiec's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Miromir Cupial was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. When Maciej Cichewski fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Torcida Zaborze's protests and gave Maciej Cichewski a yellow card for diving instead. After 20 played minutes Torcida Zaborze got a freekick which was hit by Maciej Cichewski. After 28 played minutes Młynarz Sosnowiec got a freekick which was hit by Jerzy Rasialdo. Dawid Kloczko's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Damian Wlodyga read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 29th minute of play. After 34 minutes Młynarz Sosnowiec's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Cyprian Majdoch who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Torcida Zaborze's Cyprian Majdoch to fire away a dangerous shot which Damian Wlodyga despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Hieronim Rzeszutek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zachary Bartelak in the 52nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonard Waselewicz in the 55th minute of play forced Torcida Zaborze's goalkeeper Hieronim Rzeszutek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leonard Waselewicz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hieronim Rzeszutek having to interfere. Damian Wlodyga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Miromir Cupial in the 62nd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Zachary Bartelak managed to get in a good position for a shot. Młynarz Sosnowiec's supporters rose to their feet, but Zachary Bartelak was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hieronim Rzeszutek breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 68 minutes into the match, Zachary Bartelak had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hieronim Rzeszutek. Torcida Zaborze's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Zachary Bartelak was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Hieronim Rzeszutek took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zachary Bartelak, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zachary Bartelak received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Hieronim Rzeszutek tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Miromir Cupial came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Torcida Zaborze fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Miromir Cupial couldn't finish the play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dawid Kloczko got free with Damian Wlodyga in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
