Spectators: 7270 (Terracing: 5454, Seating: 1672, VIP seats: 144) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ryszard Dlugi started the match with the kick off. Kuckeln's Herbert Murdza proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 3rd minute of the match, managed to save Kuckeln from getting a goal against them. Ryszard Dlugi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ulryk Cielencki came free with the goalkeeper in the 16th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Herbert Murdza could save by the left post. If Ziemowit Rybak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Herbert Murdza was a little too slow when Franciszek Pisarczyk got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 29th minute. The score was now 1-0. Ulryk Cielencki scored 2-0 in the 33rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Herbert Murdza, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Ryszard Dlugi came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Kuckeln fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ryszard Dlugi couldn't finish the play. Ryszard Dlugi took the ball and in the 43 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bartosz Brudzisz. Bartosz Brudzisz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ryszard Dlugi in the 47th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bartosz Brudzisz saved Borussia Dortmund from getting behind.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Franciszek Pisarczyk was the one to do the kick off. Herbert Murdza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Waclaw Cipinski, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. In the 54th match minute, Kuckeln was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ryszard Dlugi to maneuver through the defense. In the 64th minute Waclaw Cipinski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Herbert Murdza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 68 minutes into the match, Kuckeln's goal looked a bit too open when Ulryk Cielencki came free, but Herbert Murdza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ziemowit Rybak kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Herbert Murdza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Miromir Limanowski in the 71st minute of the match. Kuckeln's Ryszard Dlugi got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 82nd minute of the match, Ryszard Dlugi got a very nice opportunity to score, but Bartosz Brudzisz was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Edgar Penczkowski hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. Borussia Dortmund's Franciszek Pisarczyk got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ryszard Dlugi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Edgar Penczkowski in the 93rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Bartosz Brudzisz, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ryszard Dlugi got free with Bartosz Brudzisz in the 95th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Borussia Dortmund had won after a very even match.
