The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of Telatyn SSA booed when ACT DRUK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Boruc Arendarski's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Walery Ludzia read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 12th minute of play. Telatyn SSA's Edward Trzaskoma played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Igor Major in the 61st minute of play. Mikolaj Knopek might have been able to make a better finish in the 63rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Edward Trzaskoma. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mikolaj Knopek ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 71st minute the ball was on its way in behind ACT DRUK's goalkeeper Walery Ludzia, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Mikolaj Knopek came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the ACT DRUK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mikolaj Knopek couldn't finish the play. Boruc Arendarski blasted a shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Walery Ludzia having to make a save. After 88 played minutes ACT DRUK got a freekick which was hit by Napoleon Drebit. The ACT DRUK supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing ACT DRUK would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
