If Wiktor Wodaszak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 7th match minute, MATKOZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marek Kochanowicz to maneuver through the defense. Leszek Furgat fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jerzy Trojanowski having to interfere. The supporters of Los Blancos booed when MATKOZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marek Kochanowicz didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 21st minute, Franciszek Felenak hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Witomir Gdaniec came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by MATKOZ's Bogdan Gniewek. But to his dismay, Bogdan Gniewek quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. With a little luck, MATKOZ's Jerzy Trojanowski got control of the ball when Sylwester Dobilas tried to sneak it across the goal line. Witomir Gdaniec came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by MATKOZ's Roman Sadlowski. But to his dismay, Roman Sadlowski quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Damian Kolbert received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Jerzy Trojanowski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Wiktor Wodaszak sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Damian Kolbert sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sylwester Dobilas was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 43rd minute. Los Blancos's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Damian Kolbert could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Jerzy Trojanowski made a huge save. Los Blancos's Sylwester Dobilas got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Damian Kolbert had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Leszek Furgat stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the MATKOZ defense, Sylwester Dobilas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jerzy Trojanowski. The MATKOZ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jerzy Trojanowski should have stopped the shot. Sylwester Dobilas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Jerzy Trojanowski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Witomir Gdaniec made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bogdan Gniewek in the 59th minute of play. Jerzy Trojanowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sylwester Dobilas, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Wladyslaw Jandryca struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Jerzy Trojanowski didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Los Blancos. If Wiktor Wodaszak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sylwester Dobilas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Tytus Warka charged in rather forcefully in the 75th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tytus Warka the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Tytus Warka hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Leszek Furgat recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 81 minutes into the match, MATKOZ's goal looked a bit too open when Sylwester Dobilas came free, but Jerzy Trojanowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jerzy Trojanowski came out of the goal in the 82nd minute to try and stop a shot by Los Blancos's Leszek Furgat. But to his dismay, Leszek Furgat quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Jerzy Trojanowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wiktor Wodaszak, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 89 minutes, Sylwester Dobilas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Los Blancos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sylwester Dobilas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in MATKOZ's zone, Damian Kolbert stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jerzy Trojanowski came out of the goal and Damian Kolbert tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 94 minutes into the match, Sylwester Dobilas notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of MATKOZ's Jerzy Trojanowski. Jerzy Trojanowski was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the referee ended the match the Los Blancos players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
