Spectators: 7323 (Terracing: 5494, Seating: 1684, VIP seats: 145) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Roch Rzegotka kicked off to start the match. Ruch Chorzów's Franciszek Kilar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roch Rzegotka in the 3rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Legia Warszawa's Mateusz Kuszczak got a free kick in the 7th minute. Mateusz Kuszczak kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. Pankracy Cichewski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Wincenty Domamir fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wieslaw Narbut having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ludomil Flis got free with Wieslaw Narbut in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Mateusz Kuszczak hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Ludomil Flis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wincenty Domamir in the 22nd minute of play forced Legia Warszawa's goalkeeper Wieslaw Narbut to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wincenty Domamir sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Roch Rzegotka fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Franciszek Kilar having to interfere. Legia Warszawa's Wieslaw Narbut played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wincenty Domamir in the 41st minute of play. Waclaw Tarasek hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Wincenty Domamir was the one to do the kick off. In the 55th minute, Ludomil Flis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Wieslaw Narbut showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wincenty Domamir, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Ludomil Flis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 61st match minute, Ruch Chorzów was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ryszard Haskiewicz to maneuver through the defense. Legia Warszawa's Roch Rzegotka got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Franciszek Kilar made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Pankracy Cichewski sent off a good shot on target. When Wincenty Domamir came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Ruch Chorzów fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wincenty Domamir couldn't finish the play. Ruch Chorzów's Franciszek Kilar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roch Rzegotka in the 74th minute of play. Wincenty Domamir fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wieslaw Narbut having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roch Rzegotka in the 78th minute of play forced Ruch Chorzów's goalkeeper Franciszek Kilar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Pankracy Cichewski managed to get in a good position for a shot. Legia Warszawa's supporters rose to their feet, but Pankracy Cichewski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Franciszek Kilar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 80th minute, but Franciszek Kilar got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving Ruch Chorzów hanging dry this time. Wieslaw Narbut took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ludomil Flis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Legia Warszawa's Wieslaw Narbut played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wincenty Domamir in the 94th minute of play. After 96 played minutes, Ruch Chorzów's Benedykt Zatorski shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Wieslaw Narbut came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Ruch Chorzów reached it. Legia Warszawa's Pankracy Cichewski got a good chance for a goal in the 99th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Ruch Chorzów had won after a very even match.
