Spectators: 7147 (Terracing: 5500, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 147) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Barnaba Solecki took the kick off in the first half of the match. After 4 played minutes Afro Sosnowiec got a freekick which was hit by Edward Wietrzychowski. Artur Paprotny fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Janusz Palzewicz having to interfere. Nowość's Lech Dziedziak got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Artur Paprotny recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Edward Wietrzychowski fell near the penalty area in the 11th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Afro Sosnowiec's protests and gave Edward Wietrzychowski a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Afro Sosnowiec getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Edward Wietrzychowski hit a great ball. Janusz Palzewicz came out of the goal in the 14th minute to try and stop a shot by Nowość's Lech Dziedziak. But to his dismay, Lech Dziedziak quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Mariusz Czerwinski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Janusz Palzewicz was a little too slow when Artur Paprotny got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 19th minute. The score was now 2-0. Janusz Palzewicz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lech Dziedziak's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. Janusz Palzewicz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Artur Paprotny in the 26th minute of play. A collision led to Afro Sosnowiec getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Barnaba Solecki hit a great ball. If Barnaba Solecki had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aleksander Ligas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Janusz Palzewicz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Janusz Palzewicz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lech Dziedziak, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Janusz Palzewicz had great luck who in the 46thth minute grab hold of the ball when Lech Dziedziak from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. After some fancy dribbling in the 48th minute, Aleksander Ligas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nowość's supporters rose to their feet, but Aleksander Ligas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Janusz Palzewicz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

53 minutes into the match, Nowość's goalkeeper Teobald Waselenczuk had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Witalis Nowakowski. Mariusz Czerwinski struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Janusz Palzewicz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nowość. After a defensive mix-up in Afro Sosnowiec's zone, Artur Paprotny stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Janusz Palzewicz came out of the goal and Artur Paprotny tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Artur Paprotny received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Janusz Palzewicz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aleksander Ligas struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Janusz Palzewicz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nowość. Artur Paprotny's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Janusz Palzewicz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 68th minute of play. Afro Sosnowiec's Janusz Palzewicz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lech Dziedziak in the 69th minute of play. In the 73rd match minute, Afro Sosnowiec was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teobald Raszek to maneuver through the defense. In the 75th minute Lech Dziedziak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Janusz Palzewicz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Artur Paprotny came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Nowość fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Artur Paprotny couldn't finish the play. In the 84th minute Barnaba Solecki shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teobald Waselenczuk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Afro Sosnowiec were awarded a corner in the 86th minute after Nowość's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Remigiusz Siekierski took the corner. The corner ended in Remigiusz Siekierski almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Nowość's Teobald Waselenczuk did a great save. Janusz Palzewicz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Artur Paprotny, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 90th minute of the game. One of Nowość:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Afro Sosnowiec:s goal. When Lech Dziedziak came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Nowość fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lech Dziedziak couldn't finish the play. Nowość's Aleksander Ligas got a good chance for a goal in the 99th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Nowość fully deserved thier win.
