Maciej Dejo started the match with the kick off. Szczepan Sochacki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Witold Misiewicz in the 2nd minute of the match. When Maciej Dejo came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the Sporting Giszowiec fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Maciej Dejo couldn't finish the play. In the 10th match minute, Sporting Giszowiec was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Robert Narbut to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Olgierd Iwaszko in the 12th minute of play forced Sporting Giszowiec's goalkeeper Szczepan Sochacki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Szczepan Sochacki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Witold Misiewicz in the 14th minute of the match. In the 19th minute, Maciej Dejo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Siemianowo's Olgierd Iwaszko in the 20th minute got a chance for a shot 20th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Sporting Giszowiec's goalie prevented a goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Robert Narbut during the 23rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Sporting Giszowiec getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Robert Narbut hit a great ball. Feliks Drozdowski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Szczepan Sochacki tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 28th minute of the game. One of Sporting Giszowiec:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Siemianowo:s goal. In the 30th minute there was a penalty for Siemianowo. Zbyszko Wejta stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Szczepan Sochacki. 0-1. Robert Narbut struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Leon Winszman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sporting Giszowiec. The referee gave Sporting Giszowiec a penalty, 42 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Sebastian Lagiewniki, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Siemianowo's Leon Winszman. 1-1. After 44 minutes, Roch Lewandowski mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Siemianowo and the Sporting Giszowiec players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 44th match minute, Siemianowo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roch Lewandowski to maneuver through the defense. Jan Brudzisz kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Feliks Drozdowski to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Olgierd Iwaszko got free with Szczepan Sochacki in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 69th match minute, Siemianowo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tanek Posadzki to maneuver through the defense. Feliks Drozdowski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Sporting Giszowiec booed when Siemianowo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Czeslaw Deput didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Maciej Dejo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Czeslaw Deput could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Szczepan Sochacki made a huge save. When Florian Romanese came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Sporting Giszowiec fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Florian Romanese couldn't finish the play. Sporting Giszowiec's Eustaquio Nayely was substituted for Teobald Barowicz. Maciej Dejo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sporting Giszowiec's Leszek Nieuzyla was substituted for Daniel Jenkot. Florian Romanese recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Sporting Giszowiec lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
