The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Roland Kajfasz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Szczepan Gomolka had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 7th match minute, GM Mościska was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dominik Ciszewski to maneuver through the defense. In the 10th match minute, Jagiellonia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pankracy Haszczak to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Jagiellonia's zone, Jurand Jazowski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ludomir Lodowy came out of the goal and Jurand Jazowski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jurand Jazowski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ludomir Lodowy having to interfere. Remigiusz Miazga recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jurand Jazowski in the 21st minute of play forced Jagiellonia's goalkeeper Ludomir Lodowy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 28th minute, Leon Wiater hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A hard shot by Pankracy Haszczak from long distance, 30 minutes into the match, got Hugon Jazowski's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Roland Kajfasz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in GM Mościska's zone, Szczepan Gomolka stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hugon Jazowski came out of the goal and Szczepan Gomolka tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Szczepan Gomolka might have been able to make a better finish in the 41st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hugon Jazowski. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Szczepan Gomolka ran back to his position shaking his head. Roland Kajfasz kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Jagiellonia's zone, Remigiusz Miazga stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ludomir Lodowy came out of the goal and Remigiusz Miazga tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Szczepan Gomolka made a kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Roland Kajfasz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Jagiellonia's supporters rose to their feet, but Roland Kajfasz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hugon Jazowski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Jagiellonia fans' excitement grew in the 53rd match minute when Jagiellonia's Roland Kajfasz looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Ludomir Lodowy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jurand Jazowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Franciszek Rosiewicz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to GM Mościska getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Dominik Ciszewski hit a great ball. Ludomir Lodowy was a little too slow when Jurand Jazowski got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 74th minute. The score was now 2-1. Jurand Jazowski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Roman Kuszczak kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. 86 minutes into the match, Jagiellonia's goal looked a bit too open when Jurand Jazowski came free, but Ludomir Lodowy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to GM Mościska getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Piotr Maurycy hit a great ball. In the 89th minute, Pankracy Haszczak sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and GM Mościska's Hugon Jazowski didn't even have to move. In the 91st minute, Remigiusz Miazga ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ludomir Lodowy was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. Pankracy Haszczak was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 97th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal.
