A very good chance. If Maciej Prusinowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 1.FC Katowice's Tolek Skrzypiec played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Witomir Golec in the 22nd minute of play. In the 22nd match minute, 1.FC Katowice was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edward Biraga to maneuver through the defense. Tolek Skrzypiec showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lech Posadzki in the 23rd minute of the match. When Lech Posadzki came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the 11 Popychaczy fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lech Posadzki couldn't finish the play. 29 minutes into the match, 1.FC Katowice's goal looked a bit too open when Lech Posadzki came free, but Tolek Skrzypiec reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lech Posadzki recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Maciej Prusinowski made a kick off. Witomir Golec took the ball and in the 53 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tolek Skrzypiec. Tolek Skrzypiec dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Maciej Prusinowski in the 69th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rafal Marchlewicz saved 11 Popychaczy from getting behind. Witomir Golec fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tolek Skrzypiec having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lech Posadzki in the 73rd minute of play forced 1.FC Katowice's goalkeeper Tolek Skrzypiec to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 1.FC Katowice's Tolek Skrzypiec played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lech Posadzki in the 74th minute of play. Waldemar Lanczak's late challenge caught a 1.FC Katowice's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Waldemar Lanczak helped the player get up and apologised. Waldemar Lanczak kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. 90 minutes into the game, Wasyl Komornicki was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. 11 Popychaczy's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave 1.FC Katowice the free kick. If Maciej Prusinowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rafal Marchlewicz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bogdan Urban, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Wasyl Komornicki was shown his second yellow card after 95 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After a rather tough play, 11 Popychaczy's Wasyl Komornicki got a free kick in the 95th minute. Rafal Marchlewicz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Maciej Prusinowski went, in the 97th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score.
