Spectators: 7275 (Terracing: 5458, Seating: 1673, VIP seats: 144) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Benedykt Mielak took the kick off in the first half of the match. If Edmund Lewandowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 9th minute the ball was on its way in behind KS Brynów's goalkeeper Konstanty Kiepski, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Kondek Nowa Huta's Janusz Kaider played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edmund Lewandowski in the 14th minute of play. In the 14th minute, Edmund Lewandowski ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Janusz Kaider was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 19th minute, Lech Burufski got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Janusz Kaider came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by KS Brynów's Mikolaj Imbor. But to his dismay, Mikolaj Imbor quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. A collision led to KS Brynów getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Bartlomiej Bielatowicz hit a great ball. Lech Burufski made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 28thth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Konstanty Kiepski would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. When Stefan Gerlach came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Kondek Nowa Huta fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Stefan Gerlach couldn't finish the play. Kondek Nowa Huta's Stefan Gerlach got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 41 minutes into the game, Kondek Nowa Huta's Lech Burufski nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Konstanty Kiepski made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Stefan Gerlach made a kick off. Konstanty Kiepski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stefan Gerlach in the 52nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lech Burufski in the 54th minute of play forced KS Brynów's goalkeeper Konstanty Kiepski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 56th minute, Mikolaj Imbor hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 57th minute of the match Zygmunt Chowaniec sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Konstanty Kiepski skillfully saved the ball. If Lech Burufski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Stefan Gerlach sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Konstanty Kiepski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stefan Gerlach, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Konstanty Kiepski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lech Burufski in the 66th minute of the match. Stefan Gerlach received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Konstanty Kiepski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 87th match minute, KS Brynów was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mikolaj Imbor to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the KS Brynów defense, Stefan Gerlach kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Konstanty Kiepski. The KS Brynów fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Konstanty Kiepski should have stopped the shot. After a defensive mix-up in KS Brynów's zone, Stefan Gerlach stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Konstanty Kiepski came out of the goal and Stefan Gerlach tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kondek Nowa Huta were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of KS Brynów for a fine match.
