Edward Zuraw took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andrzej Dulemba, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Through an outstanding action, after 27 minutes, Edward Zuraw successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Krasków SA's Lech Koprowski shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 33rd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Edward Zuraw but with some difficulty. Krasków SA's Radoslaw Siwek played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benedykt Karaszkiewicz in the 37th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Benedykt Karaszkiewicz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Valencia's supporters rose to their feet, but Benedykt Karaszkiewicz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Radoslaw Siwek breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Klement Merski shot the penalty kick right outside the post. Valencia's Olaf Boruta got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Benedykt Karaszkiewicz came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Valencia fans jumped to their feet. In the 46th minute, Bogumil Cwenar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 48th minute, Olaf Boruta got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Benedykt Karaszkiewicz to make the kick off. Benedykt Karaszkiewicz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Olaf Boruta struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Radoslaw Siwek didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Valencia. Tadeusz Szkarpiak's late challenge caught a Valencia's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tadeusz Szkarpiak helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Krasków SA getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Tadeusz Szkarpiak hit a great ball.
