Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Marcin Malicki had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jurand Walentowicz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcin Malicki, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 32 minutes into the match, Marcin Malicki dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Jurand Walentowicz, 1-0. After 36 minutes, Jaroslaw Brytan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kuźnia Jawor and the Juhas Gdańsk players grew even worse after the yellow card. Kuźnia Jawor's Jurand Walentowicz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcin Malicki in the 55th minute of play. After 55 played minutes Kuźnia Jawor got a freekick which was hit by Jaroslaw Brytan. In the 58th minute Marcin Malicki shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jurand Walentowicz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kazimierz Grondzki fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hieronim Pryla having to interfere. Kazimierz Grondzki's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Hieronim Pryla firmly grabbed it by the left post. The supporters of Juhas Gdańsk booed when Kuźnia Jawor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wawrzyniec Barniszke didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Juhas Gdańsk fans cheered their team off the field, for while Kuźnia Jawor had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
