Izydor Jaruzelski was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 8th minute. Panthers Wrocław's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 16th minute of the match Wasyl Tokarczyk sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Radoslaw Soliwoda skillfully saved the ball. With a little luck, Wisła Kraków's Radoslaw Soliwoda got control of the ball when Grzegorz Pietrowiak tried to sneak it across the goal line. Rafal Terasek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leon Major in the 19th minute of play. Panthers Wrocław's Izydor Jaruzelski got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 23 minutes into the match, Panthers Wrocław's goal looked a bit too open when Przemyslaw Pinczewski came free, but Rafal Terasek reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Panthers Wrocław's Rafal Terasek played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leon Major in the 29th minute of play. Rafal Terasek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Przemyslaw Pinczewski in the 37th minute of play. Wisła Kraków's Radoslaw Soliwoda proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save Wisła Kraków from getting a goal against them. Grzegorz Pietrowiak sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Leon Major to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute Izydor Jaruzelski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Radoslaw Soliwoda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Panthers Wrocław booed when Wisła Kraków was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Miromir Jarmulowicz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Grzegorz Pietrowiak took the ball and in the 64 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Radoslaw Soliwoda.
