The audience was convinced that Wasyl Cholewa's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Eugeniusz Czysta was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. If Fryderyk Bator had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a defensive mix-up in Babinek SSA's zone, Fryderyk Bator stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eugeniusz Czysta came out of the goal and Fryderyk Bator tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Babinek SSA getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Marian Plaski hit a great ball. In the 27th minute of the match Patryk Knopek shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Eugeniusz Czysta showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Eugeniusz Czysta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fryderyk Bator in the 29th minute of the match. Wasyl Cholewa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Eugeniusz Czysta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 36th minute Babinek SSA were awarded a corner. Robert Seliga went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 38th minute of the match Marian Plaski sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jedrzej Ochabski skillfully saved the ball. Radoslaw Koczara fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jedrzej Ochabski having to interfere. Ludomil Juroszek got his second yellow card in the match during the 58th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. The supporters of Wolverhampton Wanderers booed when Babinek SSA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ludomil Juroszek didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Fryderyk Bator had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jerzy Fronczak kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. 71 minutes into the match, Babinek SSA's Robert Seliga broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Wolverhampton Wanderers's Fryderyk Bator got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 78 minutes into the match, Babinek SSA's goalkeeper Eugeniusz Czysta had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jerzy Fronczak. Wasyl Cholewa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 84 minutes, Wasyl Cholewa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Wolverhampton Wanderers's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wasyl Cholewa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Fryderyk Bator might have been able to make a better finish in the 88th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Eugeniusz Czysta. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fryderyk Bator ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 89th minute, Radoslaw Koczara hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 91st minute, Konstanty Majdoch hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fryderyk Bator recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Eugeniusz Czysta made an important save on a dangerous shot by Wasyl Cholewa in the 95th minute. The Babinek SSA support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
