Wasyl Cholewa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Antoni Basaik made a huge save. The audience was convinced that Milosz Zahemski's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jedrzej Ochabski was relentless in the 15th minute of the game. Antoni Basaik was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Fryderyk Bator fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Antoni Basaik having to interfere. In the 39th minute Wolverhampton Wanderers were awarded a corner. Patryk Knopek went to the cornerflag to take it. Wolverhampton Wanderers's Patryk Knopek was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Antoni Basaik in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Antoni Basaik showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fryderyk Bator in the 40th minute of the match.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Milosz Zahemski to make the kick off. If Milosz Zahemski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Wolverhampton Wanderers's Jedrzej Ochabski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Milosz Zahemski in the 58th minute of play. With an all-out effort, Zezulin's Jedrzej Ochabski threw himself towards the right post 82 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Milosz Zahemski, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Borys Malik managed to get in a good position for a shot. Wolverhampton Wanderers's supporters rose to their feet, but Borys Malik was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Antoni Basaik breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Antoni Basaik didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Wasyl Cholewa went, in the 87th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. When Wasyl Cholewa fell near the penalty area in the 91st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Wolverhampton Wanderers's protests and gave Wasyl Cholewa a yellow card for diving instead. After 91 played minutes Wolverhampton Wanderers got a freekick which was hit by Wasyl Cholewa. In the 93rd minute, Wolverhampton Wanderers's Przemyslaw Klocko seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Przemyslaw Klocko the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Wolverhampton Wanderers protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Przemyslaw Klocko had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee gave Zezulin a penalty, 95 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Ziemowit Rakoski, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Wolverhampton Wanderers's Jedrzej Ochabski. 3-2. Antoni Basaik showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wasyl Cholewa in the 99th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Wolverhampton Wanderers had won after a very even match.
