In the 2nd minute, Zula Zatorski ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Walery Sokol was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. 6 minutes into the match, Pielnia's Hieronim Porajewski sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Walery Sokol narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 11 minutes, Hieronim Porajewski put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Walery Sokol. After a defensive mix-up in Sokół Gołaczewy's zone, Hieronim Porajewski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Walery Sokol came out of the goal and Hieronim Porajewski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Walery Sokol didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tadeusz Trynda went, in the 18th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Jacek Latkiewicz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Grzegorz Rostow tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sokół Gołaczewy's Walery Sokol played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hieronim Porajewski in the 27th minute of play. 29 minutes into the match, Cezary Pruss notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Sokół Gołaczewy's Walery Sokol. Walery Sokol was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Through an outstanding action, after 32 minutes, Grzegorz Rostow successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tadeusz Trynda in the 35th minute of play forced Sokół Gołaczewy's goalkeeper Walery Sokol to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Walery Sokol took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hieronim Porajewski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hieronim Porajewski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-5 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hieronim Porajewski to make the kick off. Pielnia's Grzegorz Rostow played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cyryl Mielak in the 54th minute of play. A hard shot 55 in the game by Tadeusz Trynda from a close distance when the talented Walery Sokol managed to make a qualified save. Sokół Gołaczewy's players were relieved. Pielnia's Hieronim Porajewski got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tadeusz Trynda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Walery Sokol having to interfere. With a little luck, Sokół Gołaczewy's Walery Sokol got control of the ball when Tadeusz Trynda tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 61st minute, Iwan Rutkowski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 62 minutes into the match, Sokół Gołaczewy's goalkeeper Walery Sokol had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tadeusz Trynda. After having played for 64 minutes, Tadeusz Trynda managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pielnia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tadeusz Trynda was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Stasio Czapski kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Zbyszek Ewertowski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Zbyszek Ewertowski blasted a shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Grzegorz Rostow having to make a save. Walery Sokol made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hieronim Porajewski in the 77th minute of play. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Pielnia would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
