Spectators: 7373 (Terracing: 5531, Seating: 1695, VIP seats: 147) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Michal Domaracki recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Boguslaw Pachucki hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Wladyslaw Zdeb fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Waldemar Damaski having to interfere. Sontopp's Wladyslaw Zdeb was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 17th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Waldemar Damaski stood somewhat misplaced when Wladyslaw Zdeb came free in front of goal and shot 3-0 to the left of him in the 22 minute. Sontopp's Antoni Majkowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Michal Domaracki in the 26th minute of play. After having played for 29 minutes, Rafal Wisniewski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sontopp's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rafal Wisniewski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sontopp's Wladyslaw Zdeb got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Wladyslaw Zdeb could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Waldemar Damaski made a huge save. Rafal Wisniewski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Waldemar Damaski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpected shot in the 39th minute by Wladyslaw Zdeb got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 41st minute, Rafal Wisniewski got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Rafal Wisniewski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Wladyslaw Zdeb to make the kick off. The supporters of Sontopp booed when Jawor Solecki was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zygmunt Tepper didn't get a good kick on the ball.
