Spectators: 7272 (Terracing: 5456, Seating: 1672, VIP seats: 144) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Kryspin Kazczyk kicked off to start the match. Górnik Zabrze's Mieszko Sebzda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kryspin Kazczyk in the 8th minute of play. Mieszko Sebzda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kajetan Budzynski in the 9th minute of play. Kajetan Budzynski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mieszko Sebzda having to interfere. Kryspin Kazczyk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Mieszko Sebzda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Górnik Zabrze's Mieszko Sebzda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kryspin Kazczyk in the 16th minute of play. 23 minutes into the match, Sylwester Sedzikowski dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Julian Treppa, 1-0. When Witalis Hyska fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Górnik Zabrze's protests and gave Witalis Hyska a yellow card for diving instead. After 26 played minutes Górnik Zabrze got a freekick which was hit by Witalis Hyska. Zygmunt Milan hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Napoli's Julian Treppa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sylwester Sedzikowski in the 33rd minute of play. Julian Treppa made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Olaf Biegun sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Napoli getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Wojciech Poremba hit a great ball. 41 minutes into the game, Kajetan Budzynski was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Napoli's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Górnik Zabrze the free kick. In the 41st match minute, Napoli was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kajetan Budzynski to maneuver through the defense. Julian Treppa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Witalis Hyska, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Olaf Biegun made a kick off. If Kryspin Kazczyk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 58 minutes into the match, Górnik Zabrze's goal looked a bit too open when Karol Pietrowicz came free, but Mieszko Sebzda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 59th minute, Karol Pietrowicz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Górnik Zabrze getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Stefan Lepucki hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Górnik Zabrze's zone, Kajetan Budzynski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mieszko Sebzda came out of the goal and Kajetan Budzynski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 64th match minute, Górnik Zabrze was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Witalis Hyska to maneuver through the defense. In the 70th minute, Górnik Zabrze's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Kryspin Kazczyk fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 73rd minute, Kajetan Budzynski got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Napoli getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Karol Pietrowicz hit a great ball. After 76 minutes of play, Górnik Zabrze's Jacek Nienajadlo made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Julian Treppa was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 82nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Górnik Zabrze's goalkeeper Mieszko Sebzda, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Kryspin Kazczyk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mieszko Sebzda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kryspin Kazczyk in the 90th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Wawrzyniec Mockiewicz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Górnik Zabrze's supporters rose to their feet, but Wawrzyniec Mockiewicz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Julian Treppa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 95th minute, Kajetan Budzynski left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Napoli fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Górnik Zabrze had played much better football throughout.
