Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Piotr Wykowski made the kick off and thus started the match. Marcin Bendyk was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 3rd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Leon Ochylski charged in rather forcefully in the 11th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Leon Ochylski the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of GKS Katowice booed when Drosdowen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leon Ochylski didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Drosdowen's Leon Ochylski got a free kick in the 14th minute. In the 15th minute Jan Ochabski suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. Marcin Bendyk charged in rather forcefully in the 23rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. After having played for 28 minutes, Piotr Wykowski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Drosdowen's supporters crossed their fingers, but Piotr Wykowski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 32nd minute, Tytus Lodowy ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kazimierz Madej was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. The supporters of Drosdowen booed when GKS Katowice was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcin Bendyk didn't get a good kick on the ball. 42 minutes into the match, GKS Katowice's goal looked a bit too open when Piotr Wykowski came free, but Kazimierz Madej reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The goalkeeper, Kazimierz Madej, was totally fooled by Drosdowen's Wiktor Sroki, who 49 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Witomir Niemojewski was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to Drosdowen getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Leon Ochylski hit a great ball. Tytus Lodowy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 61st minute, Tytus Lodowy ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kazimierz Madej was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. In the 68th match minute, GKS Katowice was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Witomir Niemojewski to maneuver through the defense. In the 69th minute of the match Wiktor Sroki shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Kazimierz Madej showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After having played for 71 minutes, Tytus Lodowy managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Drosdowen's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tytus Lodowy was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Piotr Wykowski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Witomir Niemojewski kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Piotr Wykowski struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Kazimierz Madej didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Drosdowen. Kazimierz Madej made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Piotr Wykowski in the 76th minute of play. Kazimierz Madej showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Piotr Wykowski in the 78th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tytus Lodowy in the 83rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kazimierz Madej saved GKS Katowice from getting behind. Kazimierz Madej showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Piotr Wykowski in the 86th minute of the match. If Tytus Lodowy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Piotr Wykowski's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kazimierz Madej read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 92nd minute of play. Edgar Bierfass was shown his second yellow card after 99 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Edgar Bierfass kicked well hit freekick during the 100th minute of the match. Drosdowen's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
