If Bogdan Hejza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Slawomir Pionek kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

In the 54th minute Sójcze Bytom were awarded a corner. Michal Kasprzak went to the cornerflag to take it. Sójcze Bytom's Michal Kasprzak was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Eugeniusz Burdalski in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. When Kryspin Kiszkiel fell near the penalty area in the 59th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored MKS Orzeł Kokotek's protests and gave Kryspin Kiszkiel a yellow card for diving instead. Kryspin Kiszkiel kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. In the 62nd minute Zbyszek Kochowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arkadiusz Filipkowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Feliks Nieuzyla in the 65thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Eugeniusz Burdalski, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Arkadiusz Filipkowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zbyszek Kochowski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zbyszek Kochowski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arkadiusz Filipkowski having to interfere. After 76 played minutes Slawomir Pionek rounded MKS Orzeł Kokotek's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-2. In the 82nd minute Zbyszek Kochowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arkadiusz Filipkowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 83 minutes into the game, Slawomir Pionek recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Eugeniusz Burdalski. Slawomir Pionek showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-3. A collision led to Sójcze Bytom getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Teofil Gall hit a great ball. 88 minutes into the match, Sójcze Bytom's goal looked a bit too open when Bogdan Hejza came free, but Arkadiusz Filipkowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 89 minutes of play, MKS Orzeł Kokotek's Bogdan Hejza made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Arkadiusz Filipkowski was left in no man's land by his defense there!
