Spectators: 7295 (Terracing: 5473, Seating: 1677, VIP seats: 145) LKS Pogoń Lwów's Szczepan Marosz started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The audience was convinced that Szczepan Marosz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jan Borcz was relentless in the 7th minute of the game. Stanislaw Ciupierdo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 9 minutes into the match, FC BARCELONA's goal looked a bit too open when Stanislaw Ciupierdo came free, but Jan Borcz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zbyszek Buda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Jan Borcz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Szczepan Marosz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jan Borcz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. Wincenty Pysz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Jakub Budzyn made a huge save. The supporters of LKS Pogoń Lwów booed when FC BARCELONA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Korneliusz Niedbalski didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in FC BARCELONA's zone, Iwan Gargasz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jan Borcz came out of the goal and Iwan Gargasz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. LKS Pogoń Lwów's Zbyszek Buda got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 39 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for LKS Pogoń Lwów! The goalkeeper, Jakub Budzyn, was totally fooled by FC BARCELONA's Zbyszko Sedzikowski, who 41 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Boguslaw Walczyk stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Szczepan Marosz managed to get in a good position for a shot. LKS Pogoń Lwów's supporters rose to their feet, but Szczepan Marosz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jan Borcz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Szczepan Marosz in the 73rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jan Borcz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. LKS Pogoń Lwów's Jakub Budzyn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wincenty Pysz in the 76th minute of play. If Tobiasz Deput had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jakub Budzyn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wincenty Pysz in the 79th minute of the match. In the 80th minute, Szczepan Marosz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jan Borcz was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. When LKS Pogoń Lwów's Szczepan Marosz in the 93rd minute got a chance for a shot 93rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC BARCELONA's goalie prevented a goal. In the 94th minute, Stanislaw Palzewicz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jan Borcz was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. LKS Pogoń Lwów played a much better game than FC BARCELONA and deserved their victory. The FC BARCELONA players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
