The referee ignored Chachalnia's protests and gave Maciej Wielowiejski a yellow card for diving instead. Maciej Wielowiejski hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. In the 8th minute Michal Gendolla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Artur Krzynowek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 9th minute, Ziemowit Walczak got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Michal Gendolla blasted a shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Artur Krzynowek having to make a save. After 13 minutes of play, Chachalnia's Ziemowit Walczak made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Michal Gendolla received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Artur Krzynowek tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
