Robert Kornatowski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Witomir Smolarek's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jurand Kisiel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 14th minute of play. Jurand Kisiel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Robert Kornatowski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tanek Perkowski was slow to take the kick. During this time Brzesko KS's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Tanek Perkowski got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Jurand Kisiel quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After a rather tough play, Burza Idzikowice's Zenon Pawelczyk got a free kick in the 25th minute. If Witomir Smolarek had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Robert Kornatowski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Zenon Pawelczyk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Iwo Ramzinski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Brzesko KS getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Mateusz Kosowski hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cezary Pyrzyce in the 41st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Iwo Ramzinski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 47th minute Cezary Pyrzyce shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iwo Ramzinski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Witomir Smolarek who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 51stth minute tested the skills of Jurand Kisiel when he managed to save the team from getting behind. If Zenon Pawelczyk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jurand Kisiel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Robert Kornatowski in the 74th minute of the match. 75 minutes into the game, Gilbert Barciniak was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Burza Idzikowice's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Brzesko KS the free kick. When the match had gone on for 78 minutes, Robert Kornatowski took a quick shot and it went in 0-2 without a chance for Jurand Kisiel to make any attempt to save it. The supporters of Burza Idzikowice booed when Brzesko KS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Piotr Zieba didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cezary Pyrzyce blasted a shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Iwo Ramzinski having to make a save. Iwo Ramzinski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zenon Pawelczyk, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zenon Pawelczyk in the 91st minute of play forced Brzesko KS's goalkeeper Iwo Ramzinski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Cezary Pyrzyce had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
