Tolek Solecki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dobromir Jaroch in the 24th minute of the match. Kajetanówka's Jerzy Bentkowski got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Zbyszek Lukasik's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tolek Solecki was relentless in the 39th minute of the game. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Kajetanówka had won after a very even match.
