After 5 played minutes, Stal Sanok's Bogumil Wawak shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Zula Zjawin came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Stal Sanok reached it. After having played for 6 minutes, Iwan Giejda managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Stal Sanok's supporters crossed their fingers, but Iwan Giejda was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 7 minutes into the match, Stal Sanok's goal looked a bit too open when Artur Budacz came free, but Emil Zarobski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jerzy Arnista received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Zula Zjawin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Jerzy Arnista came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Stal Sanok fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jerzy Arnista couldn't finish the play. After 31 minutes, Zula Tylinski mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Stal Sanok and the Sok Team players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Sok Team booed when Stal Sanok was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zula Tylinski didn't get a good kick on the ball. Artur Kojder, 32 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Zula Zjawin made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Iwan Giejda sent off a good shot on target. Szymon Golec charged in rather forcefully in the 40th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Szymon Golec the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Sok Team's Szymon Golec got a free kick in the 40th minute. Bogumil Wawak kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Sok Team's Zula Zjawin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jerzy Arnista in the 53rd minute of play. Zula Zjawin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Iwan Giejda's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. Zula Zjawin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jerzy Arnista, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Zula Zjawin came out of the goal in the 59th minute to try and stop a shot by Stal Sanok's Jerzy Arnista. But to his dismay, Jerzy Arnista quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. In the 67th minute Artur Budacz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emil Zarobski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wojciech Pilitowski was extremely unlucky when he, in the 68th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Artur Budacz received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Emil Zarobski came out and tried to block the shot, but Artur Budacz slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 69th minute. Jerzy Arnista received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Zula Zjawin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Wojciech Pilitowski took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 77th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Emil Zarobski. Stal Sanok's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Emil Zarobski made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Wojciech Pilitowski sent off a good shot on target. After 80 minutes of play, Stal Sanok's Iwan Giejda made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Zula Zjawin was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Iwan Giejda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Emil Zarobski made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Wojciech Pilitowski sent off a good shot on target. Artur Budacz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Edgar Pietrowiak fell near the penalty area in the 97th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Stal Sanok's protests and gave Edgar Pietrowiak a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Sok Team booed when Stal Sanok was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 97 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edgar Pietrowiak didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sok Team's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
