Hungary's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 14 minutes into the match, UFC Mahmudie's goal looked a bit too open when Antal Valentin came free, but Dedé Alves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The corner led to Hungary's Vörös Henrik getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Narcis Pârlea kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Dedé Alves showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antal Valentin in the 22nd minute of the match. The supporters of Hungary booed when UFC Mahmudie was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emil Ciuvică didn't get a good kick on the ball. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Lucian Covataru stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 89thth minute of the game Sorin Vârjean who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hungary's Fodor Daniel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Dedé Alves made an important save on a dangerous shot by Antal Valentin in the 91st minute. After some careless play in the Hungary defense, Sandu Alexa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fodor Daniel. The Hungary fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fodor Daniel should have stopped the shot. If Sorin Vârjean had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Many of Hungary's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Hungary may have spent more time on the ball, but UFC Mahmudie were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
