Gronau's Napoleon Bazan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pankracy Mlekodaj in the 5th minute of play. When Barnaba Miarka came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the Gronau fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Barnaba Miarka couldn't finish the play. The audience was convinced that Pankracy Mlekodaj's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Napoleon Bazan was relentless in the 11th minute of the game. Napoleon Bazan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jerzy Rukszcz in the 17th minute of play. After 17 played minutes Gronau got a freekick which was hit by Ksawery Lech. Mateusz Joks hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. 21 minutes into the match, Pankracy Mlekodaj notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Gronau's Napoleon Bazan. Napoleon Bazan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Barnaba Miarka's late challenge caught a KS Tęcza's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Barnaba Miarka helped the player get up and apologised. Barnaba Miarka kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. KS Tęcza's Roger Short played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Boguslaw Kajdasz in the 35th minute of play. 43 minutes into the game, Pankracy Mlekodaj cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Napoleon Bazan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Pankracy Mlekodaj had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 48 minutes, Pawel Jaroszewicz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. KS Tęcza's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pawel Jaroszewicz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Pankracy Mlekodaj to make the kick off. A collision led to KS Tęcza getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Bogumil Witek hit a great ball. If Pankracy Mlekodaj had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 64 minutes into the match, KS Tęcza's goal looked a bit too open when Boguslaw Kajdasz came free, but Roger Short reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pankracy Mlekodaj received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Napoleon Bazan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. KS Tęcza's Roger Short played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Barnaba Miarka in the 71st minute of play. Tadeusz Kaczucha charged in rather forcefully in the 73rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tadeusz Kaczucha the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 73 played minutes Gronau got a freekick which was hit by Tadeusz Kaczucha. Sylwester Ziomkowski took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 74th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Napoleon Bazan. Gronau's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Boguslaw Kajdasz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Roger Short tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With his leg Napoleon Bazan managed to avoid a goal in the 85thth minute, when KS Tęcza's Pankracy Mlekodaj fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The supporters of Gronau booed when KS Tęcza was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Patryk Witek didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pankracy Mlekodaj might have been able to make a better finish in the 95th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Napoleon Bazan. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Pankracy Mlekodaj ran back to his position shaking his head. KS Tęcza's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
