With a little luck, KGHM GRANICA BOGATYNIA's Maksymilian Snaza got control of the ball when Rafal Wydrych tried to sneak it across the goal line. Podniebyle's Remigiusz Grabski got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Remigiusz Grabski charged in rather forcefully in the 51st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Remigiusz Grabski the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 51st match minute, Podniebyle was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Remigiusz Grabski to maneuver through the defense. If Remigiusz Grabski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lucjan Pankiewicz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Cezary Tworek tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 84 minutes, Leszek Mikulski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Podniebyle's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leszek Mikulski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Leszek Mikulski's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Maksymilian Snaza read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 88th minute of play. When the referee ended the match the Podniebyle players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
