Daugavpils City F.C.'s Tomasz Turok played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zbigniew Kon in the 5th minute of play. Tomasz Turok made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Feliks Sobczak in the 9th minute of play. If Jacek Bycofski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 20th match minute, Tafity SA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jerzy Dresik to maneuver through the defense. 22 minutes into the match, Tafity SA's goal looked a bit too open when Izydor Cichewski came free, but Cyryl Waldoch reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Benedykt Przewozik hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Maciej Daszkowski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 42ndth minute of the game Jacek Bycofski who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tafity SA's Cyryl Waldoch was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Maciej Daszkowski kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Daugavpils City F.C.'s Jacek Bycofski got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tomasz Turok showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zbigniew Kon in the 55th minute of the match. In the 56th minute Tafity SA were awarded a corner. Kryspin Niedzwiecki went to the cornerflag to take it. It was a well-played corner which Hugon Setara managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Jacek Bycofski scored 1-0 in the 59th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cyryl Waldoch, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Cyryl Waldoch stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jacek Bycofski's shot from short distance in the 63rd minute. 65 minutes into the game, Antoni Ochabski was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tafity SA's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Daugavpils City F.C. the free kick. In the 65th minute, one of Tafity SA:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Tafity SA. Daugavpils City F.C. made a substitution. Teofil Borowski replaced Witold Karp. When the match had gone on for 73 minutes, Feliks Sobczak took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Tomasz Turok to make any attempt to save it. Daugavpils City F.C.'s Witomir Zawada was substituted for Witomir Bryk. Tomasz Turok made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zbigniew Kon in the 78th minute of play. After some careless play in the Tafity SA defense, Jacek Bycofski kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cyryl Waldoch. The Tafity SA fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cyryl Waldoch should have stopped the shot. The supporters of Tafity SA booed when Daugavpils City F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cyryl Beninda didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kryspin Niedzwiecki might have been able to make a better finish in the 91st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tomasz Turok. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Kryspin Niedzwiecki ran back to his position shaking his head. With 100 minutes on the clock, Cyryl Beninda commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. 99 minutes into the game, one of Daugavpils City F.C.:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Tomasz Turok had in the 102ndth minute some difficulties stopping Kryspin Niedzwiecki's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. When the referee ended the match the Daugavpils City F.C. players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
