In a very dangerous position, a player in Kaluch fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 21st minute. Penalty! In the 23rd minute there was a penalty for Drwęca NML. Jaroslaw Majewski stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Tytus Prus. 0-2. Radomir Arnista sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Drwęca NML's Florian Wielgopolski got control of the ball when Roland Michalski tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Drwęca NML's zone, Roland Michalski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Florian Wielgopolski came out of the goal and Roland Michalski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 33rd minute, Drwęca NML's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Piotr Pietras fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dariusz Wydrych in the 37th minute of play forced Kaluch's goalkeeper Tytus Prus to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tytus Prus showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Radomir Arnista, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Piotr Pietras recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

During the 90th minute of the match Dariusz Mazierski completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Dariusz Mazierski a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. A collision led to Drwęca NML getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Dariusz Mazierski hit a great ball. 92 minutes into the game, Piotr Pietras cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Florian Wielgopolski was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The Drwęca NML supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Drwęca NML would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
