Spectators: 7418 (Terracing: 5601, Seating: 1717, VIP seats: 100) FC ŁÓDŹ's Pankracy Prusinowski started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute the ball was on its way in behind FC ŁÓDŹ's goalkeeper Jacek Prus, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Zdzislaw Perkowski took the ball and in the 4 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jacek Prus. Jacek Prus dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 8th minute of the game Leszek Lewandowski made a throw-in which Zdzislaw Perkowski played forward. If Zdzislaw Kilarski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Konrad Spychalski fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Jaworsko SSA's protests and gave Konrad Spychalski a yellow card for diving instead. The crowd rose to their feet as FC ŁÓDŹ's Julian Pysz slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Herbert Kaszubowski. That made the score 1-1 after 16 minutes of play. Jacek Prus showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zdzislaw Perkowski in the 20th minute of the match. Julian Pysz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Herbert Kaszubowski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Herbert Kaszubowski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Pankracy Prusinowski in the 23rd minute. Jacek Prus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Konrad Spychalski in the 25th minute of play. Wladyslaw Mochadlo scored 1-2 in the 27th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jacek Prus, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jaworsko SSA's defense didn't have a chance, in the 30th minute, when Witomir Niezywy scored to the left of an out of position Herbert Kaszubowski, making the score, 2-2. Julian Pysz came free with the goalkeeper in the 38th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Herbert Kaszubowski could save by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Izydor Marek in the 39th minute of play forced Jaworsko SSA's goalkeeper Herbert Kaszubowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Herbert Kaszubowski made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Julian Pysz sent off a good shot on target.

The supporters of FC ŁÓDŹ booed when Jaworsko SSA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zdzislaw Perkowski didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 56th minute, Julian Pysz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC ŁÓDŹ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-3. 59 minutes into the match, Julian Pysz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Herbert Kaszubowski. Jaworsko SSA's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Julian Pysz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Pysz in the 67th minute of play forced Jaworsko SSA's goalkeeper Herbert Kaszubowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 69th minute, Robert Teofila reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Jacek Prus. The goal made the score 4-4. After a rather tough play, Jaworsko SSA's Wieslaw Makomaski got a free kick in the 75th minute. 78 minutes into the match, Zdzislaw Kilarski notched a goal, 5-4, to the right of Jaworsko SSA's Herbert Kaszubowski. Herbert Kaszubowski was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Robert Teofila in the 86th minute of play forced FC ŁÓDŹ's goalkeeper Jacek Prus to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 86 played minutes FC ŁÓDŹ got a freekick which was hit by Witomir Niezywy. Herbert Kaszubowski came out of the goal in the 88th minute to try and stop a shot by FC ŁÓDŹ's Julian Pysz. But to his dismay, Julian Pysz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-4. Jacek Prus showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Robert Teofila, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. Pankracy Prusinowski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Herbert Kaszubowski having to interfere. FC ŁÓDŹ's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
