The audience thought a goal was coming when Filip Juszkowski got free with Jacek Prus in the 4th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 6 minutes into the match, Gwidon Okraszewski had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Filip Snaza. Diablosy's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gwidon Okraszewski was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. The audience was convinced that Pankracy Prusinowski's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Filip Snaza was relentless in the 12th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pankracy Prusinowski in the 17th minute of play forced Diablosy's goalkeeper Filip Snaza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 19th minute Edmund Szostak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jacek Prus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Filip Juszkowski who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 24thth minute tested the skills of Jacek Prus when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After having played for 27 minutes, Gwidon Okraszewski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC ŁÓDŹ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gwidon Okraszewski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 30th minute Pawel Gomolka shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jacek Prus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 30th minute, Radowit Gleba hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. FC ŁÓDŹ's supporters rose to their feet, but Pankracy Prusinowski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Filip Snaza breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jacek Prus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roland Cholewa in the 44th minute of play. Jacek Prus was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Pawel Gomolka showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 45 minute of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gwidon Okraszewski to make the kick off. The supporters of Diablosy booed when FC ŁÓDŹ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Radowit Gleba didn't get a good kick on the ball. 56 minutes into the match, Diablosy's Zdzislaw Gargasz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jacek Prus narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jacek Prus showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edmund Szostak, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Wlodzimierz Weyna kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. The referee gave Diablosy a penalty, 65 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Zdzislaw Gargasz, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of FC ŁÓDŹ's Jacek Prus. 2-1. Pawel Gomolka scored 3-1 in the 68th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jacek Prus, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 74th minute, Edmund Szostak left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Diablosy fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. In the 90th minute Pawel Gomolka shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jacek Prus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jacek Prus came out of the goal in the 91st minute to try and stop a shot by Diablosy's Pawel Gomolka. But to his dismay, Pawel Gomolka quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-1. Jacek Prus showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roland Cholewa in the 97th minute of the match.
