After a defensive mix-up in Skorupken's zone, Zdzislaw Kilarski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Krzysztof Rasiak came out of the goal and Zdzislaw Kilarski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Konrad Pachucki had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. Skorupken's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Konrad Pachucki was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The wind increased when Pankracy Prusinowski made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Robert Maruda left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Skorupken fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. After 75 minutes of play, Skorupken's Gwidon Sakowicz made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. In the 85th minute Gwidon Sakowicz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jacek Prus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jacek Prus showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Robert Maruda, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Julian Pysz in the 90th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Krzysztof Rasiak saved Skorupken from getting behind. Krzysztof Karanewski scored 4-2 in the 95th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jacek Prus, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Skorupken had won after a very even match.
