Mariusz Gaszynski's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Karol Tarka read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. When Lucjan Zahemski came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Smoliny FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lucjan Zahemski couldn't finish the play. If Lucjan Zahemski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 25th play minute Mariusz Gaszynski came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Karol Tarka. 1-0. Smoliny FC's Lucjan Nowakowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Olgierd Klewinski in the 28th minute of play. Lucjan Zahemski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Lucjan Zahemski's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Karol Tarka was relentless in the 32nd minute of the game. 34 minutes into the match, Stece SSA's goal looked a bit too open when Lucjan Zahemski came free, but Karol Tarka reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 35 played minutes Lucjan Zahemski rounded Stece SSA's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-0. In the 41st minute the ball was on its way in behind Smoliny FC's goalkeeper Lucjan Nowakowski, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 43rd minute, Stece SSA's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Mariusz Gaszynski fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 45th minute Tanek Olejniczak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lucjan Nowakowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Stece SSA's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Witomir Tepper in the 46th minute. Sylwester Milan thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Lucjan Nowakowski, a very annoying self made goal in the 47th minute which led to 2-1. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lucjan Zahemski was the one to do the kick off. Karol Tarka didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lucjan Zahemski went, in the 54th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. After 56 minutes, Tanek Olejniczak mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Stece SSA and the Smoliny FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Smoliny FC booed when Stece SSA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tanek Olejniczak didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 58 minutes, Mariusz Gaszynski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Wladyslaw Kajfasz during the 69th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Mariusz Gaszynski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 78 minutes into the match, Smoliny FC's goal looked a bit too open when Wladyslaw Kajfasz came free, but Lucjan Nowakowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Stece SSA getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Norbert Dudzik hit a great ball. Witomir Tepper charged in rather forcefully in the 81st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Witomir Tepper the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 80 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Stece SSA! The referee gave Smoliny FC a penalty, 82 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Lucjan Zahemski, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Stece SSA's Karol Tarka. 4-2. In the 85th minute, Mariusz Gaszynski ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Karol Tarka was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-2. In the 89th minute Mariusz Gaszynski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karol Tarka saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 92 played minutes Smoliny FC got a freekick which was hit by Herbert Rydz. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 95th minute of the game. One of Stece SSA:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Smoliny FC:s goal. Mariusz Gaszynski took the ball and in the 101 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Karol Tarka. Karol Tarka dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-2. Smoliny FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
