The coaching staff of KS Inter Wieliczka protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Kryspin Gregorczyk had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 9th minute of the game. One of KS Inter Wieliczka:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Academia Bydgoszcz:s goal. In the 14th minute, Igor Kalak reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Jacek Cisek. The goal made the score 2-0. The supporters of KS Inter Wieliczka booed when Academia Bydgoszcz was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ziemowit Mojsiewicz didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, KS Inter Wieliczka's Jacek Cisek got control of the ball when Eneto Mayol tried to sneak it across the goal line. Academia Bydgoszcz's Igor Kalak suffered a concussion in the 24th minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. When Marcin Lerych fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored KS Inter Wieliczka's protests and gave Marcin Lerych a yellow card for diving instead. Academia Bydgoszcz's Miromir Winograd was substituted for Igor Kalak. A collision led to KS Inter Wieliczka getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Marcin Lerych hit a great ball. Tomasz Henryk's late challenge caught a Academia Bydgoszcz's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tomasz Henryk helped the player get up and apologised. Miromir Winograd scored 4-0 in the 68th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jacek Cisek, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jacek Cisek showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Miromir Winograd in the 73rd minute of the match. Fabian Mojsiewicz charged in rather forcefully in the 78th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 95 minutes into the match, KS Inter Wieliczka's goal looked a bit too open when Eneto Mayol came free, but Jacek Cisek reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee ended the match the Academia Bydgoszcz players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
