Spectators: 7448 (Terracing: 5587, Seating: 1713, VIP seats: 148) Lunusiowo's Slawomir Kasperowicz started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Slawomir Kasperowicz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Katowice United's zone, Slawomir Kasperowicz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mikolaj Sawicki came out of the goal and Slawomir Kasperowicz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Michal Dula showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jaroslaw Kosmatka in the 11th minute of the match. Slawomir Kasperowicz took the ball and in the 19 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mikolaj Sawicki. Mikolaj Sawicki dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Stefan Poniewaz's late challenge caught a Lunusiowo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Stefan Poniewaz helped the player get up and apologised. In the 27th minute, Stefan Poniewaz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Teofil Gendolla charged in rather forcefully in the 31st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Teofil Gendolla the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Slawomir Kasperowicz in the 36th minute of play forced Katowice United's goalkeeper Mikolaj Sawicki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Katowice United's Pankracy Olender got a free kick in the 38th minute. Wincent Nocny received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Mikolaj Sawicki tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 42 minutes into the match, Katowice United's goal looked a bit too open when Slawomir Kasperowicz came free, but Mikolaj Sawicki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jaroslaw Kosmatka received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Michal Dula tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Lunusiowo's Slawomir Kasperowicz in the 48th minute got a chance for a shot 48th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Katowice United's goalie prevented a goal.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Pankracy Olender to make the kick off. When Stefan Poniewaz was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 54 minutes had been played. A collision led to Katowice United getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Stefan Poniewaz hit a great ball. Olaf Majorski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mikolaj Sawicki having to interfere. Lunusiowo made a substitution. Wojciech Olender replaced Teofil Gendolla. In the 64th minute, Lunusiowo's Olaf Majorski ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Mikolaj Sawicki. Mikolaj Sawicki yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-3. Mikolaj Sawicki stood somewhat misplaced when Slawomir Kasperowicz came free in front of goal and shot 1-4 to the left of him in the 69 minute. After 72 minutes, Olaf Majorski made it 1-5 with a short kick to the right side. Katowice United's Mikolaj Sawicki tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Slawomir Kasperowiczs short, quick shot in the 77thth minute got Mikolaj Sawicki to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Aleksander Czciborek struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Mikolaj Sawicki didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lunusiowo. 81 minutes into the game, Slawomir Kasperowicz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-6. Mikolaj Sawicki was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 86th minute, Olaf Majorski got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Lunusiowo booed when Katowice United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jaroslaw Kosmatka didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mikolaj Sawicki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Slawomir Kasperowicz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Slawomir Kasperowicz struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Mikolaj Sawicki didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lunusiowo. Lunusiowo's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
