Through an outstanding action, after 17 minutes, Jurand Bycofski successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Tobiasz Kornatowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tanek Slazak in the 21st minute of the match. Lechia Gdańsk's Jakub Liermann got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some careless play in the Wieszczela defense, Florian Gondek kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tobiasz Kornatowski. The Wieszczela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tobiasz Kornatowski should have stopped the shot. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Florian Gondek to make the kick off. Jurand Bycofski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bartlomiej Poteralski, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Tanek Slazak was extremely unlucky when he, in the 65th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. The supporters of Wieszczela booed when Lechia Gdańsk was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jakub Liermann didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 70th minute Bartlomiej Poteralski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jurand Bycofski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 70 minutes into the match, Lechia Gdańsk's goal looked a bit too open when Borys Chmelyk came free, but Jurand Bycofski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Lechia Gdańsk booed when Wieszczela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tolek Borucki didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tanek Slazak recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 98th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
