Spectators: 7507 (Terracing: 5631, Seating: 1726, VIP seats: 150) Wengern's Tytus Kaczynski was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 5th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. In the 8th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ipswich Town's goalkeeper Roch Sienkiewicz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some careless play in the Ipswich Town defense, Iwan Mietus kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Roch Sienkiewicz. The Ipswich Town fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Roch Sienkiewicz should have stopped the shot. Roch Sienkiewicz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tytus Kaczynski in the 17th minute. A collision led to Ipswich Town getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Sebastian Kaczanek hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Wengern defense, Roland Zajac kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tadeusz Banas. The Wengern fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tadeusz Banas should have stopped the shot. After 41 minutes of play, Ipswich Town's Leonard Gierlach made it 3-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tadeusz Banas was left in no man's land by his defense there! 45 minutes into the match, Wengern's goal looked a bit too open when Roland Zajac came free, but Tadeusz Banas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 47 minutes, Tytus Kaczynski put it in 4-3 from a short distance just to the right of Roch Sienkiewicz. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-3.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cezary Czubski made a kick off. Tadeusz Banas was a little too slow when Cezary Czubski got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 58th minute. The score was now 5-4. The crowd rose to their feet as Roland Zajac kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Tadeusz Banas. That made the score 5-5 in the 62 minute of play. Wengern's Roland Karanewski was substituted for Iwan Mietus. Wengern made a substitution. Patryk Cieliczka replaced Franciszek Rakiewicz. Leonard Gierlach could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Tadeusz Banas made a huge save. Tadeusz Banas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cezary Czubski, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tytus Kaczynski in the 73rd minute of play forced Ipswich Town's goalkeeper Roch Sienkiewicz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tytus Kaczynski's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Roch Sienkiewicz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 74th minute of play. Wengern's supporters rose to their feet, but Roland Karanewski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Roch Sienkiewicz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 79 minutes into the match, Wengern's goal looked a bit too open when Cezary Czubski came free, but Tadeusz Banas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 82 minutes into the match, Ipswich Town's goal looked a bit too open when Roland Karanewski came free, but Roch Sienkiewicz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A very good chance. Roch Sienkiewicz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emil Puzio in the 93rd minute of the match. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
